OBJECTIVE MAKE ELECTION NIGHT AN EXCLUSIVE LIFESTYLE EVENT THAT STOKES FOMOHIGHER HEIGHTS
As a consultant to Higher Heights, a nonprofit focused on boosting Black women's representation in US public office, I developed impact strategy, produced video content, designed social assets, and produced events. My work, which included content featuring Congress members, grassroots leaders, and political candidates, expanded the organization's membership, attracted funders, and garnered media coverage. In 2018, I managed their #BlackWomenLead campaign, ending with an election night event at The Wing in SoHo, live-streamed by ESSENCE Magazine. My role as showrunner involved coordinating with partners to ensure a seamless event that celebrated historic election victories for women of color in Congress.
